juice cleanse faq's

Q:  What are the health benefits of doing a juice cleanse?

A:  A juice cleanse is a great way to jump start a diet. It not only helps control appetite and cravings, but is naturally lower in calories while supplying the body with more concentrated beneficial energizing and healing nutrients than on a normal daily basis.

Q:  Should I eat while doing a juice cleanse?

A: There are many different levels and schools of thought when it comes to juice cleanses, but there are two basic approaches.  One is to consume only juice, and the other is to consume juice as well as raw fruits and vegetables.  Both are very beneficial, but a strict all-juice cleanse is always best if you’re willing to give the extra effort.  Drink plenty of water during any juice cleanse.

Q:  Will I be getting a good variety of protein/detox/hydrating juices?

A:  We always try to make sure to steer you in the right direction. We suggest a well-rounded variety of juices rich is vegetable nutrition as well as some delicious fruit juices so you’ll get the most from your cleanse.

Q:  How many juices per day do I consume?

A:  We suggest 6 of our 16oz bottles of juice per day if you’re consuming only juice.  If consuming raw fruits and vegetables during your cleanse you can definitely lower that to 3 or 4 juices per day.

Q:  How many days long is a typical juice cleanse?

A: A juice cleanse can be as short as one day or as long as 30 days, but 3 days is the most common duration for maximum results (though a one day cleanse still has great benefits and can be done more often).

Q:  How much does your juice cleanse cost?

A: Our cleanses cost $50 per day. A great value considering all of our juices are organic, cold-pressed, and contain 3 to 5 pounds of fresh produce per bottle. Never watered down. Never any sugar added.

Q:  How far in advance should I order my cleanse?

A: If you’re picking up each day you can always just walk in and choose 6 juices from what we have made that day. If you’re planning to pick up a few days at a time it is always better to let us know a day or two in advance.

Q:  How should I prepare for a juice cleanse?

A: A day or two leading up to your cleanse it is always beneficial to start reducing your meal portions and eating lighter foods. This will make the transition less of a shock to your system and reduce chances of headaches or fatigue.

Q:  How should I reintroduce food post-cleanse?

A: Just as it is a good idea to prepare before your cleanse, it is equally important to ease into reintroducing solid food. Going straight for fried foods, red meat, or greasy/fatty foods will be a shock to the digestive system.

Q: Will I lose weight on a juice cleanse?

A: Absolutely, but keep in mind that most of the weight lost will be water weight.  A cleanse should be looked at as a great jump start to a more long-term healthy lifestyle.  If you don’t stick with the effort toward a healthy diet & exercise regimen you can quickly lose everything you’ve accomplish during your cleanse.
